Happy first ever Walmart Wednesday!! I am so excited about this dress but even more so about this new segment on my blog! I went back and fourth trying to decide if I were actually going to start a “Walmart Wednesday” because although I know a lot of my followers do appreciate some budget friendly fashion inspo, I wasn’t sure if Walmart was maybe TOO budget friendly? If that’s a thing. I was worried you guys might see some of these posts, really like the outfit but not go get it because you don’t want people to ask where you got it and then you have to respond “Walmart”. Not that there’s anything WRONG with Walmart but.. ya know. I used to be that way. I didn’t want people to think that Walmart was all I could afford (so petty, I know). THANK THE LORD I outgrew that and realized that affordable is what it’s all about! Now, I am not typically a Walmart shopper, UNLESS it’s for clothing. I am an avid Walmart Clothing shopper. I have a secret obsession with finding super cute pieces at Walmart and then blowing everyone’s socks off when I tell them where I bought them. Crazy that I used to worry about that exact thing. Now, I want to shout it from the rooftops. There is NO shame in my game and there shouldn’t be any in yours either!!
So, what you’re actually here for, THE DRESS! Isn’t it precious?! It’s the Time and Tru “Peasant Dress in Cool Water” and it’s ONLY $16.48! It comes in four different colors AND it comes in sizes S – XXL!! Wish they offered an XS, I believe that would have fit me even better but, that’s okay! I am just so happy they offer sizes above XL. Many items that I share do not and I HATE it! This is a dress for everyone! Yay! It’s so soft and can be as flowy and loose fitting or form fitting as you’d like. I tied it in the back but you can see it tied in the front, in the original Walmart listing! I think it looks great either way! Not a hard dress to “dress up” and not a hard dress to “dress down”! I wore it with my brown wedges and brown bag here but I know that i’ll also be wearing it with some sandals and a smaller cross body sometime soon!
If you have ANY questions about this dress or Walmart Wednesday, in general, please don’t hesitate to ask. I have already picked next week’s featured outfit and I almost don’t know how I am going to wait a whole week to share!
The dress, obviously from Walmart, linked here.
I got these wedges from Shoe Land in Augusta. Sadly, they are sold out but they have a website so you can been on the look out for a restock. I am linking VERY similar ones here. These are from Sole Society and ARE a bit more pricey that what I paid at Shoe Land but they are the only ones I could find that looked almost the exact same. When you go to Sole Society’s site, a 15% off offer will pop up for first time buyers! Take advantage of that. If you would like any help finding a cheaper version of this shoe, I will be happy to help!
With so much love,
