Georgia’s Spring comes earlier and earlier each year, it seems and I am NOT complaining. Spring is my favorite season. It’s when we’re getting married this year, it’s time for blooming and tan lines and sunset views over water we haven’t seen in a while, it’s bright colors, bold florals and all the good stuff that my heart long’s for when it’s winter and dreary. I like winter, I really do but in my opinion, NOTHING beats Spring and the way it makes me feel on the outside and the inside. I just love Spring, can you tell? Did I mention it? Hope these warm days and insanely potent smells of fresh flowers are here to stay. We’ll see!
You can bet that the very morning I woke up and it was over 60, I put away all of my winter wardrobe and broke out every single Spring / Summer piece I own. Unfortunately, this year, that’s not much because nothing fit’s me and I have already given away and sold most of it. Off topic but kind of on topic for the moment, I have lost a ton of weight, not necessarily by choice. If i’m being completely honest, my weight loss is not something I like to think about or talk about, if I don’t have to. If I had lost all of my weight from dieting or running or working hard to lose it, thing’s would be different but having lost 40+ lbs strictly due to medical illness, is not something to brag about. I have had a few and by a few I mean a lot of people message me asking for my “weight loss tip’s and tricks” and although I do take those questions as compliments, I do not have any tip’s or tricks and that really stinks. I plan to write about the illness aspect of my life soon enough but for now, I am not ready. Okay, back to blog topic, Chloe. Dang. NONE OF MY CLOTHES FIT and this is a huge (first world) problem. No shorts. No skirts. Nothing. I have been eyeballing all of my super cute spring tops and die a little on the inside when I realize I only have jeans to wear with them. What a problem to have, right? Regardless, I need see to go hardcore shopping, ASAP. Have to find the money for it, first.
Speaking of money, I scored this dress on SALE, ya’ll. 25% off to be exact. Sale’s are my favorite. You can still get 25% off of your Old Navy order! Sale end’s tomorrow, I believe. This dress is actually a girls dress. I know, I know. No help for people who aren’t 4’11 like I am. BUT, I am linking a few dresses at the bottom of this post, that are similar just in case you are interested!
These shoes… I have decided not to share where they are from yet. NOT because I want to keep my favorite “secret shoe store” a secret for my own benefit but because I am working on collaborating with the shoe store to give you, my readers, a discount code! I have quite a few pairs of shoes from this store and will be blogging about all of them as a whole when I share the discount code, SOON! Kind of wanting it to be a “grand reveal” if you know what I mean. If you absolutely can not wait, please message me! I get it, they are really freaking cute shoes.
ALSO, I still do have a bit of spring / summer wardrobe that I have NOT sold and would like to! How do you guys feel about Poshmark? Would you like for me to add to the account I created? There’s nothing on it right now! Let me know in the comments, please!!
